Field Set For 2020 PCL Girls' Basketball Championship

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Vying for its first league crown since 2016, Archbishop Wood is the top seed for the 2020 Philadelphia Catholic League Girls' Basketball Championship, which gets underway on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Led by junior Kaitlyn Orihel, the Vikings compiled an 11-1 record in PCL Red Division play and earned a first round bye. Neumann-Goretti is the No. 2 overall seed, followed by West Catholic, Cardinal O'Hara and defending champion Archbishop Carroll.
First round action commences on Feb. 11 as Archbishop Carroll hosts No. 12 John W. Hallahan, No. 11 Little Flower vists sixth-seeded Bonner & Prendie, No. 7 Archbishop Ryan hosts Conwell-Egan, and eighth-seeded Lansdale Catholic takes on No. 9 St. Hubert's.
The Quarterfinals will be held on Feb. 13, while the Semifinal round will take place at Jefferson University on Feb. 20. The finals of the 2020 PCL Girls' Basketball Championship will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 at The Palestra.
