Archdiocese Holds Second Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Meeting Of The 2017-18 School Year

RADNOR, PA - The high schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Catholic League held their second Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) meeting of the 2017-18 school year on Thursday, Mar. 1, on the campus of Archbishop John Carroll High School.
Group discussion centered around such topics as enhancing the overall student-athlete experience, how athletics have helped in their overall personal development, and making others aware of the numerous service projects performed by the varios athletic teams.
Guest speakers included Fr. Rob Hagan, Associate Athletic Director, Villanova University; Don DiJulia, Director of Athletics, Saint Joseph’s University; and Alex Haynie, Philadelpia Region Director, Catholic Athletes For Christ. The group met previously on Oct. 5, 2017.
Thanks to all of the students who dedicated their time to be a part of this committee in working toward enhancing the experience of the thousands of high school student-athletes of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Catholic League.
