Archbishop Carroll Secures Its 17th Consecutive PCL Girls' Lacrosse Championship

ASTON, PA - Katie Detweiler scored just 21 seconds into the match and senior Sam Swart tallied four goals in the first half as Archbishop Carroll won its 17th consecutive PCL Girls' Lacrosse Championship on Monday evening with a 20-3 victory over No. 2 Cardinal O'Hara on the campus of Neumann University.
Detweiler scored three goals and Grace Gallagher added a pair of goals as 14 different student-athletes scored at least one goal for Archbishop Carroll, which improved to 19-1 on the season. O'Hara goals were scored by Michelle McCarthy, Erin Grady and Anna Dirira.
Best of luck to both programs as they move forward to District XII Championship play on May 23.
